Dall'ultimo post è imploso twitter, ho provato, fallendo, a riscrivere il front end del blog con Astro 1 ed è cominciato il periodo dell'anno in cui son on call.
Ieri è iniziato l'advent of code, che lo scorso anno ho "finito" 2 e che quest'anno mi dimentico di fare al giorno 2. Per fortuna ho almeno messo su 24songs in tempo 3 .
In tutto questo devo pianificare una settimana ad Amsterdam per lavoro, che c'è di peggio, ma incastrare con le scorribande universitarie di Irene a Edimburgo è complicato.
I just realised, all of a sudden, that the last 3 or 4 months at work has been incredibly hectic.
Not in a bad way – as in I'm not burned out or eccessively stress about anything – but nevertheless, the amount and range of challenges, learnings etc, has been significantly higher than usual.
My manager has been quite explicit on their plans for my growth and they got me operating at the "next level".
In the past I would've likely complained about being exploited in doing work above my paygrade, but with a clearly communicated direction, I can see how this is good for me.
Isn't it interesting how perception of things change if it's framed in the right narrative? 4
